Baekjul International Taekwon-Do
Robert Clarkson, the Proprietor and Chief Instructor of Baekjul Black Belt Academy, opened his full time facility in Southport, Gold Coast in 2003. In 2009, after six successful years growing the academy, Robert moved his martial arts school and studio to the current premises in the Brickworks Annex off Ferry Road, Southport. Baekjul Martial Arts is now the largest and best equipped martial arts facility on the Gold Coast.

Philosophy of Taekwon-Do Martial Arts
All Members and Instructors of Baekjul International Taekwon-Do follow the philosophy of Taekwon-Do as set down by the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi [Dec.]
At Baekjul Martial Arts we teach that physical training is only a means and a way towards mastering the spiritual and mental aspects of Taekwon-Do. The mental and physical power must compliment the spiritual power. In Taekwon-Do, the holistic approach to the development of the mind and body and spirit is paramount.
